Catching the Wave of Sustainable Development Conference

Monday 23rd June at The Headland Hotel, Newquay

The Cornwall Sustainable Energy Partnership, Restormel Borough Council and Imerys Roof Tiles joined forces to put on an event to support developers, architects and planners in Cornwall who are focused on building a sustainable future in the county.

The event uncovered the issues surrounding policy changes, building design and construction. Case studies of good sustainable design and build were presented by experienced developers, highlighting the value of such developments and explaining the processes involved in bringing them to fruition.

Set in the context of Newquay, which is undergoing much change, the event provided all aspects of the building development industry the opportunity to learn, network, and educate.
